Within 1 minute’s walking distance there are 2 pubs, a low price supermarket, 2 greengrocers, 3 pizza joints and a hamburger joint, 7 restaurants (Greek, Indonesian etc. etc.), and a Sushi bar. A 3 minute stroll brings you to a department store, the cathedral, the new Aros Art Museum, 3 theatres including the main Aarhus theatre, and to the major riverside bar/restaurant/club area - and right next door you will find a gallery exhibiting ceramics made by the well known Danish potter and singer Lissa Ladefoged.

The rest of the centre of town is also within easy walking distance and you can walk to the beaches, the woods and the main tourist attractions. You can also take a bus or taxi of course.
